About Broken Heart Ranch

Equestrian Excellence Since 2017

Broken Heart Ranch has been a treasured cornerstone of the Colorado equestrian community. Founded on the principles of compassionate horsemanship and competitive excellence, we’ve grown from a small operation into one of the region’s premier training and boarding facilities.

About Broken Heart Ranch
Our Story

Passion Meets Experience

What began as a dream to create a welcoming space for riders of all levels has evolved into a thriving ranch where Western and English disciplines come together. Our 112-acre facility in Longmont offers thoughtful amenities and a safe, clean, and peaceful environment where horses can be horses and riders can grow with confidence.

As the proud home of the University of Colorado Boulder Equestrian Team, Broken Heart Ranch is deeply rooted in both Western and English riding. Our private competitive team continues that tradition, with riders developing confidence, skill, and strong horsemanship in and out of the show ring.

But competition is only one part of our story. We believe the horse-human connection goes far beyond ribbons and trophies. Whether you are a first-time rider or a seasoned equestrian, our experienced trainers work with you to build not only riding skills, but also a deeper understanding, respect, and partnership with these incredible animals.
